Recycle Used Pickleballs

🚫 Why Pickleballs Can’t Go in the Regular Recycling Bin

Did you know?
Pickleballs are made from specialized plastics designed for durability and performance — not for standard curbside recycling.

Because of their material, size, and construction:

  • They can’t be considered clean #2 or #5 plastics

  • They jam sorting equipment at recycling facilities

  • They are rejected and sent to landfills when placed in normal recycling bins

👉 Even when recycled with good intentions, most pickleballs still end up as waste.

♻️ That’s Where Eco-Serve Comes In

Eco-Serve Recycling provides a dedicated solution for used pickleballs — keeping them out of landfills and ensuring they are properly collected, consolidated, and recycled through specialized partners.

By using our bins, you’re helping:

  • Reduce plastic waste

  • Support responsible recycling

  • Make sustainability part of the game

Put Your Brand at the Center of Sustainable Play

Eco-Serve Recycling helps brands connect with one of the fastest-growing sports communities in the U.S. through sponsored recycling programs that create real environmental impact and authentic visibility.

Why Sponsor?

How Our Sponsored Recycling Program Works

Our program is free to clubs and powered by brand sponsors who support sustainability in pickleball.

Collect Pickleballs

We supply sponsored primary collection bins and courtside bins positioned near courts so players can easily dispose of cracked and worn pickleballs.

Consolidate Pickleballs

Facility staff periodically empty the courtside bins into the primary collection bin. This quick step keeps courts clean and requires minimal staff time.

Service Pickleballs

Eco-Serve Recycling services the primary bin on a scheduled basis and manages all transportation and handling.

Recycle Pickleballs

Collected pickleballs are processed through approved recycling partners to help divert plastic waste from landfills.

We’re passionate pickleball players committed to making the sport more sustainable. Learn how Eco-Serve Recycling is helping reduce pickleball waste—one ball at a time.
